Bonnie and Clyde
Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chesnut Barrow both died on May 23, 1934. They were American outlaws and robbers from the Dallas area who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. They preferred to rob small stores or rural gas stations. The gang believed to have killed at least 9 police officers and several civilians. Parker joined Barrow because she was in love. They began a series of small robberies, primarily of stores and gas stations, their goal was to collect enough money and firepower to launch a raid of liberation against Eastham prison. On April 14, Bonnie and Fluts were arrested. Parker and Borrow were ambushed and killed on May 23, 1934 on a rural road in Bienville parish, Louisiana. They got shot by a posse of four Texas officers.
